Member's Pashmina Shawl

Condition: New
More Information
A large and beautifully soft and warm genuine pashmina shawl, made on hand looms in Nepal.
70% pashmina wool and 30% silk, approx 85 cm x  212 cm.
The Pashmina wool comes from the upper regions of Western Tibet and is considered the finest in the world.  The wool is taken from the mountain goat, a protected species.  The wool is shaven from the underside of the animal's neck and torso, giving which does not harm the animal in any way.  The twisting and hand knotting alone takes one person a whole day.  Each shawl is hand dyed to Leander pink using metal free and azo free dyes (Swiss Eco friendly dyes).
This quality of pashmina is both luxurious and scarce and its rarity and softness has made Pashmina the "Diamond of Fibres".

Please note that this is for full and ordinary members only.
